Reporting FSG 70 Equipment to GSAXcess®

Once an agency has determined that the excess property is ready for reuse, they must report it to GSAXcess®. It will automatically be offered through the CFL program. The reported property will remain in the GSAXcess CFL Module for screening by eligible schools/educational non profits for 7 days. If the property is not chosen by an eligible school/educational non profit, within the 7 day screening period, the property will automatically revert to GSAXcess® to complete the remaining 14 days of excess screening that ends on the Surplus Release Date (SRD).

Your agency can help sustain this worthwhile program by transferring your excess computers to schools through this website.

Executive 12999 Section 2.(c)2 Agencies shall report such equipment as far as possible in advance of the date the equipment becomes excess, so that GSA may attempt to arrange direct transfers from the donating agency to recipients eligible under this order.

Agencies may report excess property to GSA up to 180 days in advance in order to plan for disposal to coincide with acquisitions. SF 120's should indicate the date that the property will be available for disposal.
